How Unlimited OCR 2 handles your account, uploaded documents, OCR results and payment records, how long data is kept and how to reach us

- Your uploaded files and results are stored privately in your account.
- They are used only to run your jobs. We never share or publish them, and never use them to train models.
- You can delete a job, including its source file and result, at any time.
- Card numbers go to Stripe, not to us.

The rest of this page explains what Unlimited OCR 2 ("we", "our") collects through unlimitedocr2.com, why, who else sees it and what control you have.
Data we hold about you
Profile. Email address, name and profile picture. With Google sign-in these come from your Google account; with email sign-up your password is stored only as a hash.
Credits and purchases. Your balance, the history of credits added, spent, refunded and lapsed, and your orders and plans. Stripe keeps your card details; we only see things like the amount, plan, payment status and billing country.
Uploaded documents. The PDFs and images you upload for recognition.
OCR results. The Markdown or plain text produced from your documents.
Job records. For every job: when it ran, its status, how many pages it covered and how many credits it cost.
Checkout feedback. If you leave checkout without paying, we may ask why; we store the answer you pick, any note you add, the plan and, if you are signed in, your account.
Messages to us. What you send through the contact form or by email, with the name and email address you give.
Technical data. What is needed to run and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type and server logs, plus visit statistics if you allow analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
How your documents are handled
When you start a job, your file is processed on servers run by our hosting and storage providers so the text can be recognised. The source file and the result are stored privately in your account and are visible only to you.
We use your documents and results only to run the job you asked for. We don't read them for any other purpose, share them, publish them or use them to train models.
Your files and results stay in your account until you delete them. You can delete any job from your dashboard, which removes both the source file and the result.

- Running OCR jobs, charging credits and refunding credits for failed jobs.
- Taking payments, managing plans and keeping billing records.
- Storing your files and results and letting you download them.
- Replying to support requests and contact messages.
- Improving Unlimited OCR 2 using aggregated statistics.
- Preventing abuse and fraud, and meeting legal obligations.
We never sell personal data or use your documents for advertising.
Who we share data with
- Stripe, for checkout, plans, invoices and refunds.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Our hosting and storage providers, which run the site, process jobs, store files and send account emails, working under our instructions.
- Public authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service.

Deleting your account deletes your uploaded files and results, and deletes or anonymises your other personal data, apart from records we are legally required to keep.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to data is restricted. No system is perfectly safe, so pick a strong password and keep it to yourself.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may be able to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or limit some processing, and withdraw consent. You can download or delete your jobs directly from your dashboard. For other requests, write to support@unlimitedocr2.com and we will answer within a reasonable time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Processing outside your country
Our providers may handle data in other countries. When they do, we use appropriate safeguards to protect it.
Children
Unlimited OCR 2 is not meant for children and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has shared personal data with us, let us know and we will remove it.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top will change, and significant updates will be announced by email or on the site.
